Ryan is the distance education tutor for the Registered MasterValuer™ program for students in the US and abroad. Ryan completed his Graduate Gemologist diploma from GIA in 1999, and was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain in 2004. Ryan earned many advanced certificates from the Swiss Gemmological Institute in Basel and received his Registered Master Valuer diploma from the California Institute of Jewelry Training in 2005.
